Two Finished Projects

I managed to get two of my projects finished. The two button vest from Vogue Knitting



The second is based on a pattern from Ravelry with changes. I added several rows of holes for a more airy look and changed the ruffle around the edge to be calmer by making less increases. This shawl is made of two strands of all sorts of leftover sock yarn odds and ends.

The Dude cardigan

My DH decided that he would love a cardigan for the fall and winter to keep him warm. I found the pattern for the Dude Cardigan on Ravelry. The sweater is worn by the Dude in the Big Lebowski movie.

Here is an update. I have the back and fronts done. Now it is on to the shawl collar and arms.

Lace Tank Top

I finished this last week. The pattern is from the Vogue Knitting Magazine called lace tank top. I made some alterations to the pattern to better suit me.

Cable Cardi turned Vest

I finally finished the cable cardi which turned into a vest. This time of year I will get more use out of it being a vest.
I used KnitPicks City Tweed for this. It worked up lovely and is really soft to the touch.

This hopefully to be cardigan does not have a name as of yet. I am making things up as I go along with the knitting. It may very well end up a frog but I do enjoy trying things out.

Haruni Shawl - Finished

After having run out of yarn with only 2 rows left to knit, I finally managed to finish this. The pattern can be found on Ravelry at no cost.
